oh sweet Lord, Kubo. This is truly the only attack that can challenge Fornicarius. And I don't know how they can get away with calling Bleach a shounen anymore. I know that there were little penis shots of chibis in the original Dragonball but this.... this has somewhat another connotation.

Ishida's reaction is funny too. Can't wait for the scan.

Yes, the pacing of this fight (and everything else in HM) annoys me, but if Kubo was under pressure to stall (for the sake of the anime catching up, for the sake of thickening the Bleach merchandising possibilities), he's got to keep pulling out the jokes, lol, like this one if he wants me to bear it.

I am really frustrated with the way Kubo deals with Ishida in the arc...for someone who went thru alot in the rac, he was/is certainly gettin ridiculed and bullied alot.

I cannot enjoy any chapters..and the humor(with Ishida innards being crushed like that..is misplaced..and the realism of it all is gone.

These chapters aren't making ishida any more popular, thats for sure.

meh, the rest of my semi-rant in the FC. sigh

I rather like the humor in this arc--it keeps popping up at just the right places to keep the story from becoming unbearably dark. Really--after all that's happened to the Desert Bros and Red and White... and geez, Chad and Rukia... I appreciate it that Kubo gives us a break.

And I think that Ishida's really likable in this chapter.
