New Bleach Poster and Mini-comic

First a Bleach spin-off, four panels style, that's going to appear in Jump for Kids. Artist is Ooba Atsushi. The Ichigo and Rukia here are chibis. I think they look creepy but some people may think they're cute.

A poster that appears in Animedia magazine is drawn by the same artist that did the "Song For" ED animation--Ishikawa Tomomi. It shows Ichigo playing soccer with Hitsugaya while Matsumoto, Orihime and Rukia cheer on. Mats and Orihime wear bikini tops. Rukia and Mats wear hot pants. Rukia is shouting "do your best!" to Ichigo.

In a chapter preview, Jump dramatically mentioned an unnamed someone mysteriously standing before an Ichigo who has lost his powers (but we know how not to trust Jump teases so make of that what you will) and there was also the following (get ready for more dubious Renji comedy and sexy!bellybutton!Rukia)
The ad below features images from the Bleach Soul Plates which this time feature the theme of "world country costumes." Renji is supposed to represent India. Rukia is a Hawaiian dancer. Hitsugaya is ... British I think. Ichigo is a Spanish matador and I hear that there are four other spots yet to be seen. Thank you to poppy_moon for the scan!

Oh, also, speaking of sexy!Rukia, did you see the DVD cover for the OVA Memories in the Rain and Sealed Sword Frenzy? Rukia's in a Men in Black suit here but you can see boobage. One of the sexiest drawings from the animation team in a while. I love it: ( Another not so big image )

Jul. 13th, 2010 04:55 amhttp://users.livejournal.com/_debbiechan_/So it's the "Hell Chapter!" Morita-kun tweeted about being in the studio for the trailer the other day. Apparently the trailer for the new Bleach movie will premiere in theatres before Naruto Shippūden: The Lost Tower this July 31.

Advance tickets to the Bleach movie will come with promotional posters. These posters come in sets of three featuring characters in Shinigami/Arrancar wear on one side of the poster and casual clothes on the other. Grimmjow and Ulquiorra are featured in the pics so there's speculation that they may appear in the movie but no one knows for sure. Here's a sample of the promotional advance ticket picss (Rukia looks exceptionally hot in tiny shorts!)

But the good news is, I have an entire month off before Spring semester starts, so I'll definitely finish this story before the end of January, yay!!
