It was, somewhat, the place of birth for those strange, translucent objects that dotted this world.

It was the closest existence to "void" that I had ever laid eyes on.

Newborn!Ulquiorra speaks in a very archaic fashion, he does talk a bit more modernly during the arrancar arc. Interesting to note.

Wow. This is cool. It's like a one long poem.

I wonder what that void thing is in Ulquiorra's dreams. It seems to rip off his mask but if it's not something symbolic, I wonder if it's something that actually exists in HM. Something that makes Ulquiorra feel fulfilled. Maybe foreshadowing on something?

Or then just a giant bush in desert, and Ulquiorra likes sleeping in bushes.

I think that hes talking about those quartz things that exist in HM. I don't think it rips off his mask. More like...he comes to an epiphany while looking at it and thinking about his nihilistic views and that triggers his evolution. Idk that's the way I saw it.

I noticed his mask getting popped off, too. Question, did we ever hear concretely that all the espada were hogyoku born?

If he's a naturally born arrancar/vasto lorde, then that would explain his seemingly greater powers and second release in spite of his 4th rank.

Just imagine what he would have been like if Aizen had found him first!
