Picture is based on my impressions from seeing Ulquiorra's three forms the first time and impressions based on the evolution of his character.

I do have another experimental painting WIP but I can't guarantee I will get it done.

Thank you! It took a long time to get the layout of the piece right, and I started with pen sketches so there are a couple pages of fail sketches before hand.

What a wonderful tribute! *downloads* I miss him so much! Thanks for posting. I'm still wondering about Arrancar birthdays--is it the day a hollow pulls his mask off?

Possible it was that or the day they died and turned into hollows, but that would make Szayel and Yylfordt having become arrancar at the same time or have died on the same day, and then became hollows within that same time (possible if Yylfordt turned first it would also explain his being older, but I just assumed they were born the same day a couple years apart while they were alive).

The easiest explanation (as per above) would be that it was the day of their birth while alive (ditto for the shinigami). I don't think Kubo ever offered a canon explanation but then again I can't read Japanese.

But you have to take into account that these guys were Menos and going around eating one another as Hollow so...

That makes it even harder to believe they became arrancar on the same date lol.

I think that the dominant personality was one of that whole group of souls that got combined in the gillian stage, would have be the person whose birthday it would be. Though I have heard that the gillian becomes a new identity at the Menos stage (can't remember any canon evidence of this and personally I don't buy it).

I see Menos as being a gestalt creature (if you looked at it in a corporate tree type status, the lead personality at top, and essentially who the Menos becomes; the hollows that got combined, the hollows that got eaten and then all of the souls, plus or otherwise that the hollows ate before they got eaten, combined etc. Everyone under the top may or may not ever be separate souls ever again after the Menos is killed or 'purified'.).
