Aizen becomes handsome again, the Stone changes loyalties, Urahara saves the day, Aizen is sealed away (where I'm sure he'll neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever cause any problems again!), Urahara went Big Brother on the Spirit King...

ICHIGO IS THE SPIRIT KING. THE KARAKURA KIDS ARE THE ROYAL GUARD. BELIEVE IT (apologies to Naruto fans everywhere).

Oh, I'm not as sure about Aizen only being sealed away. Probably because I still remember Kouga Kuchiki from one of the anime-only arcs. Sealing him away didn't work the first time round and he was only truly done with when Byakuya defeated him. Still, a little hope never hurt anyone.

YAAYY, URAHARA!!

But this still means Ichigo's losing his Shinigami powers, right? I dunno, the fact that Aizen's only 'sealed away' and completely eliminated bothers me. Especially if Kubo decides to pull a nasty surprise in future chapters.

CALLED IT! Aizen is so not dead! And I'm very happy about his returning to bishie form--! Heh. I was going to be very disappointed if there weren't more developments about the hougyoku in this chapter that complicated the fight beyond a my transformation is more speshul than yours sort of showdown! CUE URAHARA!

And yes! We're on the brink of the new arc--the SPIRIT KING IS MENTIONED!

Poor Ichigo--I KNEW IT--his Final GT wouldn't work and he lost his powers for naught. I knew it.

Ichigo pretty much did what he needed to, forced the Hougyoku to abandon Aizen which paved the way for Urahara to finish him. FGT didn't kill him but it was integral to Aizen's defeat.

Gee, what a shock. Kill off the well developed, sympathetic, and properly motivated villains by the dozen, but just "seal" the pathetic walking deus ex machina with no personality sans snark and no visible reason for being the way he is.

Surely if the future will contain Aizen, bleach will remain worth reading. I do so love watching one-sided fights interspersed with condescending words of wisdom, and chapters that end with the same cliffhanger unto infinity.


Seriously? Aizen? Really? You butchered the espada, but can't bring yourself to kill a character as worthless as Aizen?

Oh, and about the Hougyoku... quoting myself from a few weeks back here.

Ssssssooooo... the Hougyoku must be trying out all these new forms on Aizen because it's trying to settle in better, right?

I mean:

First, it went with the Giant Condom look - after all, it'd just witnessed Tousen prance around with that one, and maybe it thought it pretty cool.

Then it went the Semi Hollow route - because it'd just witnessed Ichigo mope around with that one, and maybe it thought it pretty sexy (though a little shotaish).

After that, it tried creating a Pretty Butterfly.

No idea where that one came from.

Maybe it just associated Tousen = Insect with Prettier Insect = Butterfly?

And now, it seems to have decided that CHAD is the best example of SEX ON LEGS at its disposal - what with his sculpted body and AWESOME ABS.

Maybe it's just seen episode 287 too.

Unfortunately for Aizen, I expect the Hougyoku to soon find out that there can only be ONE CHAD in the entirety of the Bleach universe.

So next week, I predict a 'Screw this s***' scene - with our poor Hougyoku abandoning Aizen and begging Rukia-chan to take it back and teach it how to be pretty again.

We still haven't gotten to the Rukia part, but I think the Hougyoku has finally seen the light.

And it is Chad-shaped. :D

P.S. Urahara has been observing the Spirit King?

...it's gonna turn out to be either Jinta or Ururu, isn't it? XDDD

It IS pretty, isn't it? It was predictable but since when has a Kubo spread failed to be gorgeous? Ichigo looks fairly magnificent there--not angsty at all, really ferocious.

I'm glad he's back to our orange haired boy now though. It was a little weird having him all brunette and stuff.

But Urahara proved him how much of a naive nincompoop he was and now it is Urahara that holds the ring of power, er- I mean Hougyoku.

Now he's going to destroy it now right? I won't have to make more Lord of the Rings parallels in the future, right?...

Anyway will we be seeing our old Ichigo now?! Not that I don't like Supa!Icigo! *stares at color spread adoringly* But I miss our strawberry head! :'(

Now I wonder...The Soul King...why would Aizen mock Urahara's intelligence about allowing him to rule for the sake of safety. Is the Soul King incompetent? Is he Crazy (good King Bumi crazy or bad Fire Lord Ozai crazy?) Or is he a stereotypical lazy fat king that's just a figurehead?

I'll wait for the pretty panels of the actual chappy to analyze it better..., but my first impressions are:
The color spread is *________* whoaaaa!!! SO WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL !!! Kubo sensei and his mad coloring skills XD
YAY! URAHARA and his kidoh/hado skills comes to finish the thing off !!! and he has been *watching* the Spirit King... Interesting, mmmmh... what a peeping Tom!! XDDD. Seriously now, I'm really intrigued.
Aizen -______- *sigh* at least he looks human again, I was starting to feel revolted by his new transformation... Even the Hougyouku had enough of him XD. He is going to be sealed... That'll give him some time to plot something... *Terminator voice* He'll be back !!! XDDD
