I agree with you 100%. Can't the translators just translate the whole thing without twisting stuff or adding things that were not there for their benefit? Just because they complicate the story with stuff that only they understand doesn't mean that we've got to learn their language in order to read 'their' manga. Whilst suffering through migraines.
