Who ships ninja turtles? O.o That totally caught me off guard. Lol.no subject
Date: 2009-07-11 04:51 pm (UTC)Soi Fong/Yorichi versus Naruto/Sasuke?
oHHHH that one was hard for me. I voted for SoiYoru because of my Bleach allegiances and some old GLBT rights activist calling out in my heart but NaruSasu is canon love imv, LOL.
The one that hurt was Bulma/Vegeta vs Mugen/Jin. I went BV because it was my first manga anime ship--loyalty you know.
TOLD YOU RUKIA AND ICHIGO WOULD HAVE A HARD TIME AGAINST HETALIA! ARGH! The gap is closing!

Date: 2009-07-11 06:45 pm (UTC)the poll closing times are at the bottom of the choices. For example the poll with IchiRuki says:
Poll will close @ 10 PM EST on Saturday, July 12th, 2009.

Date: 2009-07-11 06:43 pm (UTC)Talking to GreenBlack at one a.m.--she said America/England was only the 2nd biggest ship in Hetalia but yes it's haaaaaaaawt atm.
I think IchiRuki can still catch up--there are tons of people on the LJ comms. Just need to get the word out!

Date: 2009-07-12 01:04 pm (UTC)But yeah, it is at the top as far as fandom is concerned. ♥ Just look at how many people mentioned it in their top ten at the beginning of the tournament!
We were really unlucky with this match-up, actually, because Hetalia is currently at the very peak of its 'fame', while Bleach's popularity was at its peak during the SS arc. So there are a lot more rabid fans doing their best to make it win than there are for IchiRuki.
Plus, it's yaoi. Which I've found is always an advantage, for some reason. :PNnoiNell and UlquiHime were more fortunate, at least.

Date: 2009-07-12 02:19 pm (UTC)They only put up the couples listed by fans at the beginning, and since we were limited to ten in the end many couples were forgotten. ;_;
I know I forgot to list Yuuri/Wolfram. *bonks head* While I listed some couples that probably no one but me has ever heard about, but - but! I just couldn't help it, it would have been a betrayal in my mind if I hadn't listed them! ♥
Ash/Eiji, aaaah...♥♥♥no subject
Date: 2009-07-11 06:34 pm (UTC)But wow, it looks like the majority of Bleach ships meet the end of the line here. :( UlquiHime is the only one I see that currently has a lead.

Date: 2009-07-12 08:06 am (UTC)Don't diss America/England, though. It's actually an incredibly complex relationship. It's also the most popular ship in the Hetalia fandom. So yeah. >> I'm pulling for UlquiHime to win the whole contest.

Date: 2009-07-12 01:09 pm (UTC)Good luck to UlquiHime, then!
Oh wait, did IshiHime win the first tournament? If so, good luck to them too!♥♥♥no subject

Date: 2009-07-12 01:44 pm (UTC)I SAW THAT YOU VOTED FOR ICHIRUKI AND WAS OMG, MEZZ VOTED AGAINST A HETALIA SHIP!
Btw, in my next package of love to you, expect Hetalia volumes. ^_^
America gets on my nerves. *feeds him another hamburger* But I must say, the Hetalia fandom turnout was IMPRESSIVE and inspiring. I dunno if UlquiHime can match it!
Go IshiHime (I need to make a picspam--too lazy--someone prepare one? I love the

Date: 2009-07-12 02:27 pm (UTC)Oh, heck, is America/England against UlquiHime in the next round? O_O That's gonna be brutal too.
...well, 'brutal' in a relative sense, really. If there's one thing I loved about the America/England vs IchiRuki match-up, it's that the fans of both couples started enourmous and beautiful pic spams and tried to win people over with the merits of their own ship, without ever putting down the other pairing! :D Everyone seems to be having so much fun, it is a joy to watch. If only it were always like this in fandom. XD
Oooh, I'll try to do it - as long as it's not before the 15th, at least! Damn exams.>_no subject
