GOOD MORNING! I've got goodies. Cel scans from the anime, a (small) Kubo drawing of Ichigo, an IchiRuki tweet from zack_mori. Thanks to Jordi for the first goodie and to Annie, Nacchan, Ku and Mel for the second and third goodies.
First, one of my GORGEOUS wonderful friends sent me original cels, drawings from the Bleach anime, some time ago, and I've just started getting around to scanning them. There are dozens but here are a few from the scene when Ishida and Orihime crash landed in the Seireitei and he healed her. <3 I like the blush on Ishida here and Orihime hair whipping around. Thank you so much to Jordi! I love you.

THANK YOU TO ANNIE. From here. An original (very sexy) drawing of Ichigo for a SJ catchphrase contest. Other drawings thanks to a scan by poppy_moon in the link. The kanji (and catchphrase) says "Superior Swords Skill").

By the way, the Bleach anime sound engineer who regularly posts a lot of infos on his twitter as zack_mori replied to MEL and gave a lovely description of the IchiRuki relationship. From here : (translation by
melodymix)
"I think their relationship is something that cannot be put into words. No matter what the word, it sounds too cheap. They (IchiRuki) have such a beautiful relationship, don't they?"
He's also enjoying himself teasing fans about the episode 342 which will feature the "Bleach My Soul" farewell, saying "be sure to have hankerchief with you"--something he said about Gin/Ran scene as well.
In a tweet months ago, Kubo-sensei said he checked the episode and hoped that fans who were disappointed with its not being animated previously would enjoy its transition with the filler story. He seemed pleased with it.
I've been following the filler and despite some clunky moments, it has surprised me with its plot--more satisfying than any of the other fillers which I abandoned eventually, even the Zanpakutou arc which had such promise. I like the mod soul backstory but I'm a Kon fangirl; the Shinigami vs their evil counterparts battles haven't been anything but remakes of familiar moves but just seeing some of the familiar stuff animated was fun; I'm all for more crazy scientist stuff so the Kageroza/Urahara/Mayuri in this filler was groovy for me. Filler!girl Nozomi was okay--her being Kon's Ray of Light was amusing although I can understand why people find her annoying. She's a bit like Senna all over and not quite Rukia but as long as she's interacting with Kon, I like her. /unanalytical review

Date: 2011-09-24 03:16 pm (UTC)Ah, that really DOES sound more like a catch phrase, thank you.

Date: 2011-09-24 03:01 pm (UTC)So what he's saying is, nobody's come up with a Japanese translation of "moirallegiance" yet. (Or "matespritship" if that's where you think they are. I'm pretty sure it's redrom, anyway.)

Ms. Debby, please whatever you do, DON'T READ IT. Unless you're prepared to commit sleepless nights to reading up to the current point in the plot.
Besides that, "Moriallegiance" and "Matespritship" and all the other quadrants apply to a fictional alien society, in a webcomic, made by a real life human. While I do think that the author took inspiration from relationships in human society. Those terms apply only to the characters in that specific story in context.

Date: 2011-09-24 09:53 pm (UTC)Ah, thank you. I get confused sometimes reading quotes of quotes in the fandom. What did Morita-san say to you? That Hagino-san is producing the final anime ep?
