Hmm, weirder and weirder. I'm hearing from a blog now that his full dvd message has further complaints on it (don't know what they are yet) and that it's startled people (「右の師匠のMessageは、愚痴ばっかでびっくりした、映画のできに納得いかんかったんやな～って事がすごく伝わった。」 I'm really curious now. I don't have my copy so no scan. Also, no new color drawing for his DVD message--an old sketch of skull clad Ichigo we'd seen before and that says something to me. Then again, he drew TONS of new art for this movie when it came out. I never saw so many spreads in Jump. They were freaking gorgeous too. I think he burned himself out because we haven't seen as detailed spreads for the manga since.
