I cannot name a single person not being influenced by Kurumada Masasami-sensei for Saint Seiya (Knight of the Zodiac), growing up as a child. Kubo Tite being influence by Saint Seiya isn't really shocking or surprise either.

Certain seiyuu who are recently in Bleach were part of Saint Seiya.

Debbie linked to a Youtube video with Gin's theme song in her post ("Snake-Tongued Beast" by Saybia). It's in English. Or are you referring to something else?

I love that Kubo is inspired by music. I find myself often looking to music for inspiration and it's such a beautiful thing.
