I LOVE his reaction. (Renji's too. Renji's isn't as extreme as this, but it's totally fitting with his character. When Renji gets emotionally upsetting news, Renji GETS PISSED OFF AND FIGHTS. Win.) I love that Ichigo's really working the wide-eyed shocked look. Poor guy. If only he knew exactly what Rukia was fighting.
So unless Noitara shows up to interrupt this showdown, that should probably mean he's going after the Quincy, which would make Ishida the powerful reiatsu he sensed. Props to our boy, eh?
Noitra could still have been going for Ichigo--which would be a good way to interrupt the Ichigo/Ulqui tension.
Renji fighting next week most likely and that should be good (I predict Pinky is going down)but I'm more interested in what sort of mind game Ulqui is going to play with Ichigo.
Ishida... I'm hoping for a tidbit but I think it's too soon. He still has those three thingies on his belt so I think he could match Noitra (that would be SO COOL) but I much prefer if he sneakily meets up with Orihime.
How they get out of there is going to have to rely on Divine Intervention...
Noitara could definitely interrupt this face-off, and it'd be an interesting change to the "bad guys are distruted evenly throughout the team" format. Ishida's totally a wild card right now. I can't wait to see what he does, whenever he does it. I'd LOVE to see him meet up with Orihime, but it's doubtful he can get close unless they allow it to happen.
I prefer to think that whatever happens, they'll get out of it alone, even if that means Aizen tossing them out on their asses because they're not worth it. They went in this with no help of outside aid, after all. But really, it's just blind spec, because there are endless possibilities for how this arc could end. I'm so excited to find out what will happen.

Yeah, isn't this all fun? I'm having a blast watching people go from terrified for Rukia to lovestruck to afraid for their ship to hopeful. Kubo-san really knows how to play his audience. And his end panels are NEVER what anyone's predicted.
