bleachnessThe moment I read on a 2ch spoiler that Ichigo "glows" in his new form I lol-ed for real but when I saw it in the trailer I hurt some vital organs laughing. I'm like that. I must just have a thing against shiny heros. Shiny armor is one thing but the trope of shininess in anime and manga nowadays... hahahaha. Anyway, had a rough night (up all night with snotty-nosed kid) and this pic that Mezz found on Pixiv from someone who'd seen movie 4 still cheers me up. Hope it BRIGHTENS your day too.

There is a rather larger quantity of heroes that glow not only nowadays but rather have always...
Some more menlish than other but glow is GLOW.
Even if it is drawn in a more sturdy and menlish way for some ( saint seiya glow is girly and well done ) IT IS STILL GLOW.
He even got his own halo HALO like an ANGEL.
Ichigo won't be the first NOR the last one!!!!!111

Date: 2010-12-07 09:05 pm (UTC)Actually the first thing I thought of was SUPAH SAIYAJIN which why I meant to distinguish from shiny heros of old in plain old shiny armor like you know, Arthur's knights versus the predecessors of Goku. I love Goku with all my heart but it was cheesy then and it's cheesy now. GLOW HERO GLOW! <3
Of course Vegeta glowed too and he was kinda less than heroic in his SSJ form. XD
