Things are getting serious this time.

Ichigo doesn't believe Ginjô and I understand him, he's a complete stranger for him and he doesn't know his true intentions.

Then Ichigo goes in in his home. Yuzu is here to greet him. She has got a good mark and she's glad for that. But Ichigo doesn't seem to care even if he takes Yuzu in his arms.

Then there is the IchiHime scene. Orihime doesn't know how to deal with Ichigo but I hope it'll be better with the time. For once her intuition is quite good and Ichigo denies it.

He wants to talk to his father and he's getting very eager to get informations about his past.

While Ishida surprises someone in Ichigo's house top. This man trapped him and he loses an arm. I hope Orihime will heal him quckly, he deserves some love.

Then we see something strange, very strange. Ichigo has got a card with the words "welcome to our XCUTION".

What is it? An organization? Rebellious people?

Weird. On the one hand they are very casual around each other and Ichigo acts around her like with Tatsuki and they even have a disagreement, on the other hand there's the "-san". I don't know what to make of this.

Either way, that scene was very cute and I really enjoyed it.

Poor Yuzu, she immediately realized that Ichigo's smile was fake but didn't ask him about what bothered him.

The guy who attacked Ishida seems new, too, though he somehow reminded me of Shinji. Maybe it's the legs and style of clothing.
Ugh, seems like he got his arm ripped off yet again. >_>

Yuzu sees through her brother's act. :( Ichigo's smile is reminiscent of the smile he had at the beginning of the Memories in the Rain arc.

For those wondering about "Kurosaki-san": Orihime's pretending to sell bread to Ichigo. She's treating him like a salesperson would, using -san instead of -kun. It's nothing to get excited over, it's just a joke.

Ichigo has absolutely no sexual tension with Orihime over letting her in his room and being alone with her. Orihime, on the other hand, is more nervous, though she's not freaking out as much as she would have a year and a half ago. (Though Ichigo pointed out she's been there before.) Cute how Ichigo borrows her manga. (The real question is - what kind of manga was it? Shounen? Random scifi? Horror?)

Oh, boy!. I really don't blame Ichigo for not trusting that guy. Ichigo has this urgency now to talk to his dad, like I thought he would, when the spoilers came out and he isn't around. Isshin is weird sometimes. If he sensed something, he should've warn his family or something :( . Poor Yuzu... Ichigo is putting that expression he had before his mother's anniversary of her death day comes rolling in, the fake smile he gives in moments when he is super tense and she totally knows it -______-.

Ichigo is going to have to learn how to deal with situations like this without relying on his powers. It'll help him mature more as a person, but he sure is craving them. He is trying so hard to suppress that wanting for his powers... Is sad T__T.

I loved the interactions with Orihime ^___^. So cute she brings them so much bread XD !. And Ichigo making the customary tea for visits <33333. I'm so very happy they are acting close and like normal friends now <3333.

Orihime the bread maiden is pretty epic. She will save the world with her gaint buns!!! (teehee...)

Orihime the freind is also pretty epic! I kindda understand the discomfort, what with the cultural norms and all (which I know very little about anyways...), but it seems less like the usual onesided Hime -> Ichigo tension (although its always hard to tell whats going on in that girls head) and more like the awkwardness of getting a friend your not that close with to open up to you about something you know he/she does not want to talk about.

And hey! They share manga, cool! I wonder what genre (my guess...giant fighting robots.)

Ishidaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! D8 This reminds me of the begining of the S.S. arc what with him getting his booty handed to him (courtisy of the new antagonists Baya and Ren), except with more...loss of limb :'(

Final thought: Is it just me or does new guy look like a taller Tensa Zangetsu. He is very fast...and hot... kinda like T.Z.

I believe the "hesitant shoe" belongs to Ishida outside of Ichigo's house, not to Ichigo. Besides Ichigo is inside, so he is either barefoot or on his socks ^_^.

I miss Rukia too T___T. But me thinks it still will be a while before we see her again *sigh*

It's nice that Ichigo and Orihime are talking and it's vastly preferable to their HM arc interactions, but I'm not going to get on the boat of "aw, they're such good friends now!", not when the conversation half-consisted of him completely and straightforwardly lying to her face. Rather, I think this conversation is evidence that Orihime can now talk fairly normally to him, which is good for her. On his end, though, he is not opening his mind or heart to her. I don't see that this is too different from the facade of happiness and normalcy that he puts up, the same one that Yuzu was so saddened to see immediately prior.

Anyway, I really wish Ishida had lost his arm because I always felt like I could have used more armless-angst from him, but bloodied is fine with me. Maybe he'll get brought to the Kurosaki clinic... the doctorless Kurosaki clinic.

I agree with that. There is improvment in the Ichigo/Orihime relationship but it's far from perfect, because, as you said, he's lying to her.
Still, it's good to see that Orihime seems to be more composed around him now.

And besides, Orihime only admitted at the dome that she messed up. but so far she hasn't done anything yet that proves that she's different now and won't rely on Ichigo anymore like on the dome.

Her true test will be when she has to fight or when she sees Ichigo lose or die again.

Also, Orihime is a very good provider. She's so cute after the timeskip I want to pinch her cheeks and take her home.....But some character development for her would be nice too, Kubo, please.

I just wanna give Yuzu a big hug. Even though Ichigo has lost his powers, he's still gotta learn to share his burdens. This scene reminds me of ones with Tatsuki pre-HM.

The Ichigo and Orihime interaction was quite cute this chapter - though she still beats around the bush in asking him questions; we all know the best way to deal with Ichigo is to be straight up XD; And d'aww he's borrowing manga from her, just like he borrows Tekken from Tatsuki - so it does seem they are closer now.

It's so sweet to see both her and Ishida so worried for him, though. But this makes me even more curious about where Chad is. I'd expect him to be just as concerned, but he's still nowhere in sight. Suspicioussssss.

Orihime's derpy intuition is spot-on as usual, but I don't think she's going to sit back and accept Ichigo's opinion like she might once have. It seems both she and Uryuu were in sync about something being wrong with Ichigo, which my shippy mind admittedly found cute.

ORIHIME PRETENDING TO BE SALESPERSON IS CUTE AS THE DICKENS!!!! (why did everyone freak about her calling Ichigo -san? LOL) She really DOES blush and act uncomfortable. This makes me think twice about her being over her crush although Ichigo does note that she's been in his room before--obviously referring to the time he was in a coma. Although she says "it feels different" which could mean a number of things if she's referring to the time she was in his room to confess. SHIPPER ANALYSIS ENGAGE! XD

The new guy reminds me of Shinji too and his reading self makes him a likely opponent for Ishida but this wasn't an assassination--Ishida was given a heads up--this guy was just faster.

Maybe Ishida will go to Ryuuken's hospital after all. Orihime appeared to be gone. She also seemed to have changed out of her work clothes and not be too worried because she showed up at Ichigo's in her uniform (drat--I really wanted to see her in her uniform) but the idea of the two friends checking up on Ichigo--Orihime selling him bread, lol, and Ichigo stalking outside his window was really cute.

HAHAHA I'm guessing Ichigo has exhausted all his stuff and he needs more to keep himself entertain and not think about the shinigami loss of power issues etc XDDDD. I also wonder about the manga he is borrowing from her lol. Humorous, shoujoish, about mecha/sci fi, boxing or Karate themes XDDD?. I think is so cute ^_^.

Really loved that too XDDD. She was really funny. I find Orihime, uncomfortable in one way, but also more comfortable in others. It is really nice to see them interacting at a better level, despite their lack of real communication.

Ishida T_______T. At least he didn't loose his arm. Looking forward to seeing Ryuuken. I was thinking maybe Isshin is talking to him at this very moment. The fact that Isshin is missing is very suspicious and makes me think he does know what is going on or at the very least *felt something amiss* and went to talk to Urahara or Ishida's dad.

It is interesting that Ichigo doesn't have a reaction to the card saying XCUTION, I think maybe because it seems to be in english and it is the name of a CLUB or something like that? he didn't act shocked or anything like that. I don't think he connected the dots and WE as reader did instantly. At least that is what I thought :P

Omg, Ichigo/Orihime interactions which actually weren't half bad! O_o Orihime is still blushing and fidgeting around him, showing some signs of perhaps still having a crush, but it seems different. She seems more mature, less concerned about his lack of attention towards her. This can only mean character development later on, so I can't complain.

Mysterious new guy reminds me of Tensa Zangetsu. It's the hair.

The person Ishida was chasing looks a lot like Zangetsu to me, especially the with hair. Also, the strange residue of light it leaves behind when it jumped on top of the pole seemed abnormal, and I don't think it's what a hollow or shinigami would do. Obviously there's something else going on here, and I'm dying to know what it is already.

On another note, did anyone else notice the quick transactions from day to night? Was Ishida really lying in the street that long before someone finally noticed him and called an ambulance? I hope not, the poor guy D:

Maybe it was already night by the time Orihime came to Ichigo? Or Ishida is indeed lying in the middle of the street since midday without ANYONE noticing him. It's strange that we haven't seen actual ppl walking Karakura's streets ever since pre-SS arc. I doubt Stranger-san is a shinigami and def no hollow. Maybe he's a long lost surviving Quincy (judging from the weird light he left behind) coming to take some revenge on the shinigami, like, Isshin (hence why he's been MIA since that morning) and hurt Ishida because he's in the way...?

And nobody seems to notice that not only is papa!Isshin gone all day, we haven't seen Karin either. How can Ichigo be home earlier than her?
