Basically it says that Jump Festa Bleach will be held on Dec. 18th and 19th. The scheduled guests are Kubo sensei, Morita (Ichigo), Orikasa (Rukia), Nakai (Kokutou's seiyuu), Furuya (Syuren's seiyuu). This is the first time movie OCs are showing up for the festival. I'm disappointed other Bleach seiyuu like Ishida's and Orihime's aren't there. I expected the nakama there. I guess these OCs are expected to be popular? Soul Plates and everything--well... they're bishie for sure.

Also, I need to clear up a rumor regarding a misunderstood/mistranslated tweet that's been circulating. It's being said that Kubo-sensei requested hentai of Yoruichi, Neliel, and Rangiku and implied that he wanted to see some of Orihime. That's just not true. Not saying that Sensei can't be a perv sometime but what he was referring to were the new Bleach mousepads that have recently been merchandised. The mousepads are, erm, "erotic" and feature 3-D boobs of said characters. Kubo simply hadn't seen the merchandise and wanted to see them. Also, Seika Oda (Yuki, Orihime's seiyuu) asked Kubo why Orihime wasn't featured on one of the mousepads and Kubo responded that it was because Orihime was still in high school. Du'uh. Anyway, just clearing that up because nothing irritates me more than misinformation. This is how those "there's going to be a TURN BACK THE PENDULUM ARC ABOUT THE ESPADA" rumors get started.

Orihime needs to show up soon- I'm really eager to see how these 17 months have treated her. Hopefully, she's doing better psychologically and in terms of understanding/using her powers.

I don't think we're going to see any psychological progress/real character development with Orihime offstage (unless it's her getting over Ichigo--which would be WAHHHH)because I believe Kubo really wants to focus on her understanding herself and her powers--and in a shounen, that happens in a battle, not offstage.

I'm eager to see her again though.

I have a different theory as to why Mayuri is still in Hueco Mundo, but it involves keeping the survivors as "pets" and I'll stop here and let your mind fill in the blank. *evil grin*


Sucks that the Halloween thread bombed. I was really looking forward to it. I would cosplay but I still have to lose 50 lbs. I've got a couple WIPs going but nothing Halloween themed, though one is decently gory.

Japanese schools don't do this "smart class" thing - at least not normal public schools. And people stay in one class for the whole three years. Just thought I'd say that, because people do seem to talk about this "possibility" a lot. :)

So Mizuiro was never in Ichigo's class? He went ahead when Ichigo and Keigo went into one class.
And Ishida did appear to be running down the hall. I dislike the idea of Ichigo being separated from Rukia AND his nakama but that spread with them all facing away was ominous.

There's no smart class, but they ARE being shuffled through years. :) Which is why Mizuiro, Inoue and Chad are probably in different classes - at least, that's what this chapter implies!

I also wonder why we didn't see Chad and Orihime. Maybe they left earlier to fight hollows or skipped class for that entirely? It's really weird that we didn't even see them in the background.

Fighting Hollow seems the most obvious reason as to why they weren't there, right? But I hardly see the need for Ishida to need help when he's got his new fancy bug spray bow.

I have to admit, I have fantasies of Rukia's reappearance involving her leaping to save Ichigo from some Megahollow and/or the latest Arc Villain with a half-page blank panel that is just her saying "Bankai" off screen, following by a 2 page spread of her in her Bankai form while Ichigo looks on slack-jawed.

I like to think that Chad, Orihime and Ishida fight the Hollows together. Not that Ishida *needs* help, but I think he's learned something about teamwork by now, and I think he'd welcome the help :)

I don't know where Orihime and Chad were in that chapter, though! I was excited at the thought of seeing them, but all we got were pictures of the backs of their heads! How disappointing, booo.

The 11th Division watched Gurren Lagann and now wanders around shouting MANLY THINGS and wearing Kamina's sunglasses.
Except for Kenpachi, who thinks they're all off their rockers.
The Vizards have taken up some of their old posts under the condition that they change the shinigami wardrobe to black suits and cool cool glasses.
Rukia has been busy working on a Chappy the Rabbit doujinshi.
Hanatarou's milkshake brings all the girls to the yard, and he doesn't know why. Or what to do with them all, really.
Someone finally brought Ukitake some Ricola. He feels much better.

Chad was originally from Japan - his name indicates he's half Japanese, since "Sado Yasutora" be not latino.

I think he and Inoue have formed their own version of the AVENGERS Society and are spending their days kicking villainous ass.

Inoue isn't precisely over Ichigo, but isn't keen on seeing him mope about Karakura - she's had some actual down-time to put her life in order and to grow up a little. She's gotten a hair cut and taken a few levels in badass. She's the "intel" side of the AVENGERS Society.

SS is going through a revolutionary period. The Proletariat have finally decided to over-throw their bourgeois oppressors. Nii-sama is pissed and has moved the Kuchiki family compound to Norwich.

Ishida is also part of the Society, but considers himself more an external member, giving back-up support when needed.

I just think that Kubo did this for plot purpose and to remark about Ichigo being powerless and unable to see ghost, normality is around him and he no likes it x_D

I think it's obvious that Chad and Inoue are in different classes. If they were in Ichigo's class, we would have had a frame showing them, like Sensei used to during the Karakura arc.

Beside, we only hear Ishida giving an odd excuse to go hunt hollow, which indicates that he is still in Ichigo's class - would Chad and Inoue really ignore the whole business? I'm not sure, maybe they would. There seem to be a distance, even between Chad and Ichigo right now - he wasn't shown when Ichigo went to school or went back home.

Somehow, as I told you deb, it struck me that it was the three characters the most dependant on Ichigo who are not in his class anymore - Mizuiro, Chad and Inoue. It also struck me that nowadays, Ichigo seems closer to his non-powerful friends - Mizuiro, Keigo and Tatsuki - rather than the 3 nakama. All I can do is hope that the team of Rockin' Future 7 will finally be brought back together. It does seem that Rukia is a link, not only for Ichigo and his powers, but also between Ichigo and his friends - as she is missing, Ichigo shuts down, and everything goes very blank.

Poor Ichigo. Even though he now has more time to study, his grades still drop because he's missing both his powers and Rukia. I'm kinda wondering if on his paper form, he's not going to write "Shinigami" XD I hope he can make the decision by then :)

Eh, sorry. It's a running gag with my friends about how Chad gets shafted because he's the Mexican (like when he was in that collectors card set and everyone was underage drinking but Chad was SERVING the drinks). I'm sticking to the possibility of Chad went to mexico y in short vacations to fight more criminales and ladrones hehehe...

BUt I like the music thing one.

Orihime: those three first.... I would love to each on of them...yes, but maybe she's in other class. or like CHad in a trip, maybe in her case in a college trip. (plz correct me if I'm wrong I don't know very much of the education system in Japan)

And for our dear soul society: Hinamori, I think she needs more rehabilitation (in general) But I would like to see her more strong and determinated.

1)I would personally love to see Renji as a Captian. Why? So he can be an equal to Byakuya..... but that is a far dream of mine XD.

2)New design of the Captian's Haori. Either provided by Yamamoto, or by the SOul society women Association.

As to predictions, I'm better at predicting character developments than plot developments, so I'll leave those to the pros.

Ok since were on time skip theory class....

Chad and Orihime are perfectly fine and still in Ichigo class I suspect, through they might be up to something. I think Orihime is going to be over her crush on Ichigo now and I strongly suspect she’s going to have had some character development told via flashback in a way that adds to the drama.

I think the next time we see Rukia it be either as parallel plot to Ichigo or very close to the end of arc. Regardless of how we get there I'm pretty sure Rukia will be Ichigo cavalry in the final battle. The scene will be very shippy and Rukia will reveal or say something surprises Ichigo.

My best bet on a well earned promotion to vice captain and/or notable improvement in her fighting ability. I doubt she have acquired banki (KT saving that way for a rainy day :) ) But new dances or better kido seem very plausible.

A cool new hair style is also up there in the plausibility states. Talking of appearances, the next time we see Renji (who might turn up with Rukia) I think he have a new pair of shades... they won't last long >.<.

Strictly SS wise I think the big question is if the exiles have returned and if so what changes have they caused in the power structure? Also will Hitsugaya screaming and immaturity in the final battle caused him to be demoted and possibly gone into a downwards spiral in attitude? It be a nice way to add tension to the plot and give him some character development.

I'm also thinking that Soifon and Urahara could well be together now as well :) The reason I feel that this may well be the case is that her deal Hachi to get Urahara sealed behind a barrier will not have gone the way she wanted it too (he's too devious!) and having it end in her seduction could be both funny and touching.
