Bleach - New Ending Song

So, what do you think? Seeing everybody rising from ashes, I can only say this is one of the most hopeful Bleach ending songs.

ETA: Could that person sitting near to Shunsui possibly be Ukitake?!

When the ED start, you see Ichigo standing and Oriime walking towards him, so I pretty sure she saw him there unmoving. Its 50-50, that She is etting water for heself or for Ichigo but the point it she saw how depress he looks and if she had hope to cheer him up, she wasnt quite able to do so. I like the tiny Ichiruki, Ishihime and Chadoren hints ;P And Captain pretty sakura petals is back Yay. I like the ED especially since it has Rukia looking beautiful.

Ichigo was standing? I thought he was sitting already when Orihime started walking towards him *scratch head*

No, he was sitting. Pause at 0:02 seconds and you can see he's sitting on some rubble.

This is my interpretation: In the beginning, Orihime is cupping water in her hands (beautifully done, if I may add) and I do believe she intended to give it to Ichigo, but he didn't seem to comply or even notice that she was there (she was walking towards him while he was looking down and moping, of course). I think she was also startled by his somber appearance, indicated by her eyes widening with a sad looking Ichigo reflecting in them. Oh, and it also looks like she dropped the water upon seeing him too.

Then towards the end, you see Ichigo looking up with surprise and it was Rukia (oh, beautiful Rukia!) standing there giving him a tender expression that displayed relief and understanding. I dunno about ya'll, but I squeed. Anyways, Orihime also smiled, but you can see some tears welling in her eyes either from her own relief, joy, or acceptance from IchiRuki's exchange. Rukia has the powah to lift Ichigo's spirit and Orihime understands/sees this. Either way, it would've leaned more towards IchiHime if Rukia hadn't been there (oddly enough, she wasn't even there at first) so I think it eliminated IchiHime because of the fact that they PUT Rukia in there.

And at the end, you see Ichigo and Rukia in the same positions as Rukia takes center in front with Orihime and Ishida side by side behind her and Ichigo in the back with Renji and Chad side by side behind him. That's more nakama though, but the arrangement is awesome. xD

I thought Ichigo got his resolve back by thinking about all of his allies :P

Well, I assumed she said something epic to him and it perked him up---like she always does. Then the rest of the nakama joins in to put the ice on the cake.

The fact that Rukia appeared at the end when it could've been just Orhime and Ichigo (with Orihime cheering Ichigo up and failing) made a point that Rukia's presence/words was powerful enough to pull him out of the slump and change the atmosphere. We saw less of emo Ichigo when Rukia appeared.

To make a statement, I really don't take the animators seriously when it comes to ships because it's really just all eye-candy to me. This ED was beautiful and fits certain aspects (rise and fall) of Bleach well. I will say that it is MOSTLY nakama though. :3
