Bleach 404 is Up

Urahara/Yoruichi arguing is ridiculously cute and reminiscent of certain other relationships in the series <3333 (We already knew that Yoruichi topped in that relationship but it's always nice for Kubo to reaffirm it.)
The armor was designed specially by Urahara, so it's not Yoruichi's shikai. Some nice shots of Urahara, Yoruichi, and Isshin's faces~ *wonders about the fate of Yoruichi* D:
Interesting how Gin said that Aizen put the hougyoku in without Gin's knowledge. Then he says that "everything's fucked," which seems to imply that even Gin can't predict what will happen (especially given Aizen + the hougyoku). His rather laid-back attitude and words suggest he realizes that his own future is uncertain, hence him not answering Ichigo's question. We still don't know the true nature of Gin and Aizen's relationship or what exactly ties Gin to Aizen (other than Aizen adopting him early on as his protoge), so how deep does Gin's loyalty to Aizen really go?
Gin says that Ichigo seems to have a belief he'll die. Perceptive, or just egging Ichigo on with mind games? He's certainly baiting Ichigo. He claims he won't let someone cowardly like Ichigo fight Aizen, but is that really it? That Ichigo is too useless to waste on Aizen seems far too trivial - is he just annoyed by Ichigo? Does his sadistic side just want a battle? Does he have some deeper purpose - wanting Ichigo to become more powerful to face Aizen later? (If so, to what end?)
Ichigo's hollow mask appears... is IchiThing forthcoming?

Date: 2010-05-19 09:41 pm (UTC)Aren't they? <3333 I know not everyone agrees with that, but to me, they are what Ichigo/Rukia will end up being XD We've seen Yoruichi watch out for Urahara, scold him, and keep him in line; seen them understanding one another perfectly, without needing words; and seen them make sacrifices for each other. Now they even have the bickering <3333
He doesn't want Ichigo to face Aizen in that state of mind. HENCE. He PUSHES him forward.
My guess is that, definitely, he wants Ichigo to turn into IchiThing. Why? I think because he too thinks only Ichigo can take him out.
I think this is extremely likely. Gin might have given up on his own fate and decided to battle for the lulz, but I think given his secretive nature, the way he's been staying back throughout FKT and only popping up when he feels like it, that he's been planning something. And since he knows Aizen has been going behind his back when it comes to the hougyoku, I imagine that Gin's plans involve taking Aizen out somehow. Getting Ichigo riled up and transforming into IchiThing would be the best way. Though what Gin's goal would be after Aizen's disposed of, I haven't any idea. At least Aizen, we know from the start he wants to be a god. XD Gin? Total mystery.

I was so surprised and delighted when it turned out that Yoru was Urahara's captain. It made the whole story so much more... <3 I love it when women top. I JUST DO. Don't give me this whole grandmother/father figure crap. WOMEN TOP. <3

The only one who can top Urahara anyway is Yoruichi, and with someone as hot as Yoruichi, he's quite happy being the uke XD But yes, I was thrilled when it was revealed Yoruichi was Urahara's former captain <333 And all the scolding, telling him how to act like a captain, etc. So squeeful~!

Date: 2010-05-20 05:51 am (UTC)We don't know much about Masaki, other than what Ichigo recalls of her from his childhood, her sacrifice to save Ichigo's life, and Isshin's one line, but I agree with you - I suspect that Isshin/Masaki was probably similar to the YoruUra, IchiRuki, and ShinHiyo relationships. Not only does Isshin say that Masaki only complimented him once on his physical appearance (verrrry cute and an interesting revelation), but assuming that Isshin was just as eccentrically outgoing/crazy during his marriage as he is now normally, I think Masaki would have to be strict with him occasionally to keep him in line. <3
