Hello, I'm a long-time lurker (this place is a great lurkdom), and I think this is my first time ever opening a post here. I've been interested in Koto's international exchange of having Rukia in different cultural costumes for a while now, but I've been so busy with school that I only recently have time to draw anything for fun at all. I'm so happy to finally finish this one and contribute to the community.
Here is the picture.
If anyone is familiar with my drawings, they'll know that I mainly draw Byakuya/Hisana, so I can't resist putting Hisana in costume here as well. Have the Kuchiki sisters in Vietnamese ao dai. Hope it's still okay. Two for the price of one! :D

Date: 2009-12-13 06:07 pm (UTC)Ao dai is very elegant and makes you feel very girly, with all that flowing fabric, but it's light and easy to move in as well even while being form-fitting, as long as you're careful of the long pants' hem. They're usually custom-fit, too, so each one is unique to each wearer. I love the one I have, and I'm very happy to share this. :D
