Also, I was chatting with Annie at the time that spoilers came out, and she told me that this chapter title has been used before.

Looks like Kubo is dragging, though (are you all surprised I said that, LOL?) because seriously, another exposition chapter? This better be some good some exposition between Unohana and Ichigo ... relevant to their characters ... telling in what it's not telling ... maybe foreshadowing the upcoming fight... ?
Oh Unohana, you looked so scary in the last chapter... I'm enjoying not trusting you.

Orihime part is interesting as well. I'm not worried that she was healing Ichigo first. From what Ichigo said and what he told Rukia, I'm sure He was getting heal along with Ishida. Although I feel like Ichigo only wanted his clothes and reiatsu restore that's why he got healed lol

WAIT. Isn't Ichigo LYING? Inoue didn't heal him.... his own regeneration healed him and brought back his partial clothes--is that he doesn't want to tell Unohana about his Hollow form?
I can't imagine Inoue healing Ichigo before Ishida--if anything she was healing them together, but I think Ichigo may actually be lying....
There were no wounds for Inoue to heal, were there?
And when Ichigo sensed Rukia and the others in danger he just left....
Ichigo is avoiding telling Unohana the whole story. <.<

I really hope we find out differently, though. Right now, I can't tell if Ichigo is just totally avoiding the subject or if Kubo has just thrown Ishida by the wayside after all his derring-do. I just don't know. Plot-wise, I feel like we're adrift on an ice flow, surrounded by polar bears and orcas, no idea where we're heading. Except into danger, of course.

XD Welp, we've got confirmation that Ichigo is just being used by the Captains. Surprise, surprise there. Has Ichigo turned into a liar, or does he truly not know that his hollow saved his ass again? I know that he isn't telling the whole story...but I really want to know: how much does Ichigo know or guess what happened? Does he even know his hollow has regenerative capabilities? And the reiatsu talk kind of confirmed that Ichigo has reached the limit of his mask. Thanks Kubo for not making that whole time limit business a red herring. (I hope). Also, we have confirmed for the umpteenth time that Ichigo is an uneducated moron on how to be a shinigami.
This poor kid is so toast.
Also, Nii-sama and Ken-chan. They make such a great pair. XD
Now I'm going to sleep off my nausea in the hopes that I'm not coming down with the flu or something.

Well, yeah, it was only a matter a time before Kubo-sensei gave a chapter that was all discussion about clothes. XD
After seeing the full script translated, I'm thinking that Ichigo didn't realize that he regenerated ("hey, didn't I have a hole in my chest?") and just assumed that Orihime half-healed him or something... he took off when he felt Rukia and his friends threatened so no one had a chance to explain anything to him...
I love how this chapter is fascinating the fandom.... sometimes the spoilers get over 100 comments before noon the day they're posted. This one makes 10, LOL.

I'm personally not enthralled by the chapter myself, but I try really hard not to bitch about Kubo's pacing because it's just.too.easy. In any case, we've got a good grip on what Ichigo knows and doesn't know know.
... Unohana saying that "Kurosaki-san might really be the trump card we need" -- UM I REALLY HOPE SHE'S NOT SERIOUS. I would prefer evil-user!Unohana to wtf!Unohana.

Boy can't properly focus his reiatsu, he doesn't know any kidou, and no way he can do the hand-to-hand that Yoruichi does (again, requires too much control). He's a very strong fighter anyway, but... well, he could be better.
That said, school isn't the only path to success, so maybe something else that can give him focus and discipline.
Also, the flu is reallllly going around. >.> be careful.

I heard Oda's wife had a baby but he's taking another break later next month. Maybe Jump finally decided to give their mangaka a little breather and some time to get haircuts.
The cuteness and humor continues in this chapter. I bet after the break we get all serious again. I hope Yammy doesn't hurt Ken chan and Bya boy too bad.

And after watching the anime, I'm thinking they might actually be coordinating the episodes with the chapters. Lots of Bya/Ken action in this weeks ep, and lots of Bya/Ken action here too. I just hope we get Ishida back in the manga before we see him again in the anime (three eps from now.)

I'm tired to see the teamwork neglected and being put in such a bad light (not like a bad thing but like a useless thing: ichigo/renji vs Aizen, rose/love vs Stark, Rukia/Renji/Chad vs Yammy) I'm tired!
I'm tired to wait for Ishida
I'm tired to wait for Orihime, not for shippy reasons, i'm tired to hope and to wait for her reactions, for her gratefulness, for her apologies, for her to open her eyes, to have the decency to notice that boy next to her who did everything to protect her without asking for anything from her (cause Kubo never give us the most light hint that could say to us that Ishida want something back from her)
I'm really tired to see Ishida being treated like this.
And right now I'm tired to even see Byakuya and Zaraki acting like this in the middle of the war, i can expect it from Zaraki cause he is a fighting machine, but... Byakuya?? wthell!
I'm TIRED!
Sorry for the tantrum but I need to vent my frustration.

ESPECIALLY as a friend, then no. Let Ishida move on from his cute (and HEALTHY) crush, let him move on and let him fall for a woman who will really love him for who he is, not for how convenient he has become. If Orihime will notice him NOW and Ishida is that desperate to start a relationship with the first girl he laid eyes on, then re-read what I said above. If, and I said IF, the IshiHime ship has a little chance to develop into something more, then the top of the dome should NOT become the landmark of their potential romantic relationship.
It is too soon after a near death experience, it is a place where despair and death happened, and right now there is an aftermath that all three remaining characters are suffering through, regardless how they'd try to avoid it. So the dome becoming the 'lovedome' for all three ships (Ishi-Ichi-Ulqui-Hime) looks impossible after what happened, even if somehow Bat-Boy would rise from the ashes. After all, not everyone is lucky to find the love of their life through their first love. *eyes Orihime*
Come on now. We all love Ishida. (I personally consider him the true hero of Bleach, but that's being bias, so ignore it.) I don't care about who deserves who, and I don't care about the power level of lub that one character would have for an oblivious one that would make the love healthy enough for the two of them, regardless what the detached side of the pairing would think. I care for a real relationship between the characters, beyond the cuteness, beyond the popularity of the ship. If there will be nothing beyond friendship between Ishida and Orihime, so be it. Heartbreak is painful, but if you keep your doubts inside for too long, it becomes too much, and it either leaves you resigned to a long loveless life together or it will make you go through the most horrible moment of your life; the moment that you realized you chased after a person who never saw you in that way all of your life. In my honest experience, the sooner you amend these doubts and hopes, the better for the two, regardless the pain that comes afterwards. Everyone is afraid of rejection, it's only natural. But when you see that same person smiling contently with his significant other regardless all the crap that he's gone through, at least you can be happy for him, even if you were left on the sidelines.
Excuse me for the rant, but I had to say this. I just can't stand seeing all these BRINGUSBACKTOTHEDOMEKUBO or ISHIHIME/ULQUIHIME IS COMIN GUYS! catcalls anymore. I though that the guy lost it through the Lust arc, but right now Kubo managed to rekindle my faith for this story. The delay of the dome must have a reason behind it, but it just might not be the reason you want it to be. Fictional characters or not, this is their story, and Kubo is only the storyteller. Whether the dome will have an impact romantically or not, it is all up to them. Either way, give both the time that they need. Romance is definitely the least of their worries for the both of them. Although Kubo is a troll, he's not Kishit. He does care for his characters even though he's a sadist. Since he cares, I will as well. That's all I have to say.

I don't know, I don't want to think illy of her, as I still hold a glimmer of hope for her character development, despite it being on due for three years straight. I do not want her to keep treating her friends who are not Ichigo with the detachment that she's been treating them for quite a while. He's your friend woman. Please treat him as such. -_-

She wouldn't have wtfpwned Ulquiorra, but he wouldn't have hurt her since he considered her as 'one of them' and said verbally that he wouldn't kill her, so she could have tried to convice him to lower his weapon, as he might have listened to her. She could have tried the same thing with Ichigo, even if he was acting really weird during that fight. But... sigh. She didn't do a thing. She cannot remain like this, no matter how much she tries. Otherwise Ishida IS correct; she's not fit in the battlefield, no matter how strong her good intentions are.

When Rukia learnt all of her friends had come to rescue her (Renji included) in late SS arc, she had verbally thanked everyone in her thoughts except for Ichigo, do I remember right? And you are saying that Orihime only thanked Kurosaki for coming in her rescue whilst ignoring to thank the rest of her friends, correct?
I know that it was rather obvious that Rukia was non-verbally thanking Ichigo in that rather suspiciously shoujo-looking expressive back shot. Still, these different reactions from Rukia and Orihime can be compared. Especially putting the very different Ichigo back shots from the two women's point of view into contrast.
It cannot be a coincidence. The irony is suffocating.
