Fade to Black Limited Edition DVD pics (partial)

I've been scanning from my pretty Fade to Black limited edition DVD. It's just perfect. It's also too long for my scanner, so I'm not scanning everything.

Can I say, the Japanese sure know how to put together a limited edition? This thing is GORGEOUS. It's really shiny and heavy and beau-ti-ful.

Items of interest include:

Kubo's drawings of the sibling villains in the movie.
A special message from someone (the makers of the DVD?) in ... Rukia code.
Random storyboards and characterboards, including a shinigami captains height chart (+ Rukia + Ichigo + siblings).
Hot Urahara.
LOTS OF ICHIGO AND RUKIA RUKIA RUKIA.

Note: everything is untranslated. I don't know JP, can't tell you what it says. Sorry! ^^;;;;

Also, credit to mikaoru for being a doll and 'shopping together the DVD side image of Sode no Shirayuki.

OMG! I do want. I love the lineup and Ichigo rides Zabimaru ( again!) and Urahara in his Captain getup and Byakuya not! And the last pictures make me feel very squishy.

Oh wow, and howlong have we all been waiting for this??? LIKE FOREVER!!!!!! I still cant believe were about to get our hands on it, it still doesnt feel real!!!!!! I SOOOO sope it comes out while I'm still on holidays!!!!! Everything about it looks just majestic! And if I comment on everything I like I would be here forever!

Dang, the last few pictures of Ichigo and Rukia...so freaking gorgeous. I-I'm amazed at how lovely the art looks, usually I'm really not a fan of the anime's art, but this. There's so much love that must have gone into it. To anyone stupid enough to believe that Rukia isn't pretty...........

The picture of Urahara in a Captain's haori. I have complicated feelings about that face expression.

To be quite honest, I didn't intend on seeing this, since I was unenthusiastic about the premise of the story, despite that it was Ichigo and Rukia. But seeing all the pretty...I think I might.

I think the plot was way too cliche, but the Ichiruki was what I watched it for...to be honest, I skipped all the fight scenes to get to the Ichiruki moments :3

There are some interesting scenes besides the IchiRuki. I know I wasn't the only one hilariously entertained by Mayuri - yes, that day somehow came - and there are bits and pieces of other interaction that are nice. BFF Ukitake and Shunsui are cute, there's a scene with Urahara and Soi Fong that's nothing big in the movie but makes me LAUGH in light of the Barragan chapters... it's fun :D

(But I loved the IchiRuki best. XD)

I have to admit, I wasn't so bent on seeing this *prepares herself for slaughter* because I'm not a huge Rukia fan (I like her, she's just not my favorite), let alone IchiRuki, but I'm very happy to see there are so many more people involved in the story!!

Especially Byakkun :3 I was intrigued by the Byaku/Hisana pictures. I'm ready to watch now :D

In the extreme situation of losing both their lives if they fail, Ichigo and Rukia exchange names for the first time.

This would seem extremely preposterous when we come to think of it, though it's very romantic at the same time. How in the world would two strangers who didn't even know each other's names would come to an extent of risking their own lives if they don't have anything that binds them? HAHA. Gosh, I have been brainwashed by Ichigo. Help moi. 'A'

They just don't remember it, but maybe the two were connected ever since the past. That way, even if their relation is broken off, surely someday they will meet again and be able to fix it over and over.
