The IchiHime people have one, I think. For just their pairing. This one would be for all pairings, yaoi yuri whatever--it would just happen to fall on Tanabata but the theme would be "love and food"...
so yeah... having it on Tanabata would probably be dumb. XD
Snrk. I meant to say, in a perfectly non-CAPSLOCKY way, that your picture is lovely, too. Love Hime's expression. That was just the first thing I thought of when I saw you link your picture. It's honestly the first thing I think every time I see you XD and in a really good way!
Hollow Boy indeed. I'm sure it sells very well in Hueco Mundo. Szayel probably buys bought stock in it.
Also, the Chappy that was on the purple man thong kind of burned itself into my memory. I kid you not when I say that I had a dream about it once. Yes, your specific iteration of Chappy; I remember its demonic eyeballs.
OMFGILU!!!! XD I'm sorry but you have made my day! I laughed so hard reading that. My life is complete, I've caused people nightmares, I can go in peace now. XD I'm so friending you! =D
Ooooh, I saw that UlquiHime last week--very nice! I love UlquiHime fanart--the pairing is just so aesthetically made for art. Her ginger hair and his green eyes match so well!
Tanabata sucks. XD *gets shot* Kubo thinks so since he skipped it last year XD *gets shot again XD* Make it an Ichigo birthday event, if it has to be in July :D
Or festivals-themed. There are plenty in July, they don't need to be Tanabata-centric.
Tokyo is an exciting place to live, though the heat and persistent humidity can try my enthusiasm in the summertime. When temperatures still hover above 30 Celsius (90 F) at the end of the day, lethargy sets in. Natsubate is what the Japanese call this listless state. And, people here believe the culinary cure for natsubate is eating eels. Indeed, there is a special mid-summer day devoted to eel-eating, called doyo ushi no hi.
It began during the Edo period and is in Late July--dunno when this year.
June's the 'tsuyu' season (literally 'plum rain' but it means the tsunami season) so it's really humid and hot. Of course it depends on just where in Japan you are. (I made the mistake of going to northern Kyushu then too. Haha. I ATE A LOT OF MIKAN ICE CREAM MMM.)
Depends on the area of Texas, same as it depends on the area of Japan, but Japan is generally much more humid ^^
After the Kobe earthquake, which was in wintertime, my school ended up doing their study abroad trip in June. Yes, right in the tsunami season. (And we had class cancellations based on the weather x.x)
I'm sort of a recovering vegetarian--that is, I'm trying to eat more fish for my brain health. I found out only this year that I LOVE EEL, LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. I used to love all seafood, though--this is Louisiana. I used to love raw oysters in college and ate them even when I was mostly vegan (when you're drunk you kinda eat anything but raw oysters with lemon and tabasco--yummmmmm)
Japanese summers are very like Louisiana summers, I hear, and if so, that's hell. We have Hurricane season--they have tsunami season... and UGH. UGH. UGH. Curly hair does not look pretty during those months!
I can't wait until the interviews are released. I was kinda worried they decided not to do it because they didn't get enough questions for Kishimoto and Oda ..(I only sent Kubo questions so hopefully mine qualify!)

Ah, but if it's supposed to be all pairings so having it on Ichigo's birthday would slant the bias towards him.
Isn't there a day in Japan where people eat eel? Or some "nutrition" holiday, lol--this is a "food and love" themed pairing art contest.
