Yammi taking a prat fall to the bottom floor? He's going to meet up with CHAD, his proper opponent and leave Ishida and Orihime to go find the hougyoku, he is! I didn't think it was possible for me to love Ishida more, and yet I do. Hime, where are you? I love how Ishida and Ichigo snark. And Ulquiorra the Jailer. What in world will his release look like? We'll be guessing ALL WEEK! Space and Annie say that "imprison" may be a better translation than "lock."

The spoiler summary confirms one thing and one thing only for me: Ichigo's boycrush on Ishida is alive and well.

He didn't need to do any showing off until Ishida made his entrance and now Ichigo's all "I gotta do my vizard thing now! Hey, Ishida, watch out for my reiatsu!"

Ah Ichigo. You gotta love him. Or slap him.

Or if you are Ishida, you hang out with Mayuri, your dreaded family nemesis who scarred your childhood and mutilated your grandfather, as long as you can to give yourself a little more time to mentally prepare for the frustration so you won't be tempted to shoot Ichigo before you shoot the enemy.

As a side note, I'm going to be brave and be one of the few who will admit that I don't like the color page. I adore Rukia. I adore snarky Rukia, goofy Rukia, soft and warm Rukia, snuggly Rukia, grouchy Rukia. I do not adore this botoxed, contact-lens-wearing, collagen-lip-infused Rukia. My Rukia does not need such affectations. EVER. So Kubo better bring back the real Rukia because she was fine before. In fact, she was better.

I do like the jewelry and the coat and the little flower in her hair though.

Ichigo said he'd protect Orihime, yes, to her face, yes, but Rukia was standing there holding a boot to his head and making him do it--kinda took the romance out of it. Ishida acts and speaks of his own initiative when it comes to Orihime.

I was divided between kick someone or laugh as hard as I can when I read that line x_D Those people... Rukia had to drag Ichigo! cuz the boy wasn't capable to do for himself (of course, he felts sad for his fail to his friend, FRIEND!!)

I hate to dispoint you but with the exception of Rukia, Ichigo almost always reacted with boy crushes -- remember that worshipful look he gave Zaraki, and the eye intercourse with Ulq, the tender gaze he gave the fallen KittyGrim? No wonder at the Bleach fan fic the next biggest fic for Ichigo is yaoi (goes without saying that Ichiruki is biggest but do you know there are more Ichiren fics than there are Ichioris?) ;P

On the vow, I am as trill that KT had Ishida first 'I will protect you vow' given to Orihime. I do agree that this the beginning of a Ishida-Orihime bond.I would love see some acknowledgement or at least a rection from Orihime on Ishida's vow. Remeber Orihime was feeling sad thinking about Ichigo's real motive about coming to LN. She now knows that he is there to save her AND to fight, its not the same 'I will save Rukia no matter what' vow that Ichogo had during the SS arc.

Also KT make a point about Ichigo's mask and Orihime's adverse reaction to it, perhaps he is giving a way out for Orihime to recover from her first love crush on Ichigo. Ichigo is not the prince charming that Orihime fantasize about, she doesnt really know the real him. Her fivelife time loving vow is as real as a vow to an idol you love from a far, unrealistic.

Also I feel its Ishida who is the knight in the shinig amor type -- the one who really likes to look after his girl. Ichigo I think prefers an equal partner,a gril who would support and stand by him as he goes abot saving everyone. A girl who accepts him the way he really is, warts and all.

Anyway on the Rukia color spread, I am with those who really like it. I expect a cutesy Rukia spread, and yet again KT suprises me! I didnt expect a Matsumoto-Merlyn Monroe-d smexy Rukia! And yet again the naughty guy only shows glimpses of her outfit! I so want that necklace, if SJ is smart they would have it on their onlibe shop! :)

Yes, I know that Ichigo has tons of boycrushes but Chad remarks on only one: Ishida.

And do I know that there are more IchiRen than IchiOri fics? No, I didn't and to be honest, I probably wouldn't care.

I understand the rest of your comments and I don't have much to add to them except thank you for sharing them.

As to the color spread, lots of people like the color spread. That's obvious and good for them and good for you. But lots of people liking it doesn't mean that I have to because I didn't so to each his/her own.

I fucking LOVE Michigan J. Frog! I love classic WB stuff in general (Chuck Jones FTW) but that frog has always cracked me up. Love the macro!!!

And yeah, the whole Ishida-Yammy thing as described did have sort of a Wiley Coyote thing to it -- except Yammy's not as smart as Wiley Coyote. Hmmm, maybe Sylvester and Tweety Bird. *imagines Uryuu all in yellow* *shudders*

So, I think this is the first time I'm actually posting here...but I do a lot of lurking on this journal so..there you go <.<

I am too overwhelmed and bursting with fangirl excitement to not post right now though! Kubo definitely gave us the best Valentine present ever. The shippy side of me was hoping for a spread that would feature Ichigo and Rukia but just the fact that Kubo decides to make Rukia the center of attention of the spread..I dunno, hinting that maybe she's also a certain Strawberry's center of attention? *trying not to do the smug smile, really*

To all of those saying that we'll get a complimentary Ichigo spread for White Day..oh boy, I feel I'll love Kubo so much more than what I already do if that's the case.

And Ishida!! I'm so happy to see the Quincy back! And so fixated on saving the Princess, it's so cute <3
Also, about time for Ulquiorra to get serious...*tries to patiently wait for next week's chapter*

I really feel all the six hearts of the nakama will join for the final battle--especially now that Ulquiorra and Ichigo will be fighting outside the dome. Nakama Melee I say!

LOL! I should know better than to go against IchiIshi fangirls ;P But one point for Ichiren is that you can pretty much predict who is going to be seme and who uke in IchiIshi relations (Strawberry is almost alwayys at the top ;P) but in IchiRen its 50-50 most of the time!

No worries about not liking the Rukia colorspread, like you said if you like it you like it if you dont than that's fine too. I appreciate the honesty.

Is is just me who was kinda disappointed in this chapter. I mean sure, I waited for the Ulq release for a long time now and I think we are finally going to get it, and I also like the seemingly (cause I am not yet sure about this) easy defeat of Yammi, but it seems like KT is pushing Ishida aside as fast as he brought him in.
Don't get me wrong, I think with the way KT is treating Ishida, I think he likes this character of his, but I kinda expected at least majority of the chapter pages to be dedicated to his fight with Yammi. I'm not really complaining, I was actually impressed with Ishida brains all over again to having been able to plan ahead that fast to make an easy beat.
Anyway, did we see a new power that Ishida used? Or was it just his bow disintegrating?
Anyay, I do like this chapter, even stronger hints to Ishi/hime, I actually loved the part where Ishi said to Ichi that he would have shielded Ori without him being told.
Looking forward to Ulquiorra's release, though I do still believe that Ichigo wouldn't be able to defeat this released Ulquiorra due to the referencing to a very strong power.
... And Yeah, I actually rely and believe the predicition's being done here more than what i see in the forums that I am in, because debbie-chan and others here seems to nail many of the predictions. I'm hoping very badly that what you said about Ishi and Ori looking for the hougyoku would be true.
