The chapter is titled for Soi Fong and Vega (who has the awesomest character design--supposedly after a dude in Street Fighter I don't know--but he's fine looking) but the cover and my heart belong to Omaeda.

This chapter was ranked number one by WSJ editors out of all its manga for the week--the last time Bleach was number one was when Coolhorn (can't remember the correct spelling--he'll always be teh COOL HORN to me) unveiled his ... well, you know). Makes me wonder what they're trying to encourage in my Kubo-sensei? More laughs out of the moody little man? XD

This chapter was all laughs and stuffs but Omaeda's trembling bottom lip won me. And a little more of the connection between Soi and her vice. Soi was all "I meant to do that" about her doing badly, but the fact remains that Omaeda rushed to her rescue and that Bleach just makes me go all fuzzy and warm when it's about characters caring for one another.

Oh yeah, you can't beat Bleach when the characters stand for one another. I love that too. Omaeda has redeemed himself on my eyes. He seemed like a spoiled, wealthy (all those rings and bling bling haha), fat, vulgar, useless idiot to me all this time and here we have seen another side of him and I like what I see ^_^ Yay! good for Omaeda!

My favorite frame was where he was cuddling the mammoth fraccion's nose. I'm gonna have to icon that. Too funny!

I actually sort of believe Soi Fon when she says she was holding back. Fighting with shikai and no Shunko against an arrancar's released state? It was like Ichigo fighting Dordonni.

Omaeda definitely earned points, but my favourite part was when he was acting all cool as he resheathed his sword... and then immediately ruined the moment.

So Soi Fon forces him to release, pretends she sucks to see how much a arrancar release improves their strength and now that she has tested him enough, she´ll kill him, most likely without bankai.

Heh, nice. Also Ggio officially has the coolest looking arrancar release in Bleach.

Nice move on Omeada trying to save Soi Fon, even if this chapter shows that he knows pretty much nothing about her.

though I guess he would fit in Hueco Mundo, with the whole Spanish/Japanese theme going on (and he has a white mask).

Vega is also a blue star that is larger than our sun, which is probably more likely what Kubo named him after.

Cool fact Omaeada makes all his own jewellery. That fact was in the databook with the Squad interviews.
