Members of [community profile] bleachness  I bring to you today something I worked very hard on. I present to you this Nnoitra x Neliel manifesto, not only as a ship manifesto, but as a better perspective of the characters themselves. I hope you will enjoy reading this as I writing it, it was very fun. These characters and their natures have always been a big deal to some, and I feel for once I was able to properly defend and define both Nnoitra and Nell.

Great essay, which brings up a lot of things that I never thought about before when it comes to their relationship, yet the reasoning behind them makes sense.

There are few things you possibly forgot, however:

1.
Considering how intent you were on analyzing Nnoitra's expressions you could have mentioned that he looked sad or even regretful immediately after he hurt Neliel in that ambush that reduced her to a child.

2.
It's interesting that Nnoitra declares in the Kenpachi fight that he never shows mercy to anyone, yet he didn't kill Neliel in that ambush even though he could have done so easily.

3.
You should talk about the moment when Nnoi puts his fingers in Orihime's mouth in the whole "Is he really sexist?" part. It caused a lot of feminist outrage in fandom, so I feel that it should be addressed. But I like the reasoning you have so far.

There's a lot of other stuff I'd like to praise/comment on/suggest possible improvements for, but right know I don't have the energy to write it all out. And perhaps some other people will point them out so I won't need to.
Either way, you can probably expect another post from me if I don't get lazy.

For now I commend you for doing all that work on their relationship. I always thought that it was complicated, but you made me realize just how much XD

Ah, okay then. It's your essay, and, as I said, it's already very good. I'm certainly not angry or upset that you chose to leave it as it is.
You're certainly right that the essay is already very detailed.
