I think at this point both IchiRuki and IchiOri would make perfect sense. Ichigo has shown he cares about the two of them, at least, and that he's ready to get his ass whooped in order to save either of them. Now, who he has those feelings for is something else - to be honest I don't think Ichigo is being aware of those feelings for whoever, or if he's having them at all. (Imagine an ending where Ichigo ends up non-paired. I'll be laughing into the next age.)

There are things we have seen from other characters that likely point us to who they like. We know who Renji is in love with. And Orihime. And probably Ishida (though in my mind I have seen hints of him liking Ichigo too XD) and Rukia as well (I'm talking about when she was so hurt/disappointed when Renji didn't ask her to stay here). But then again, with Ichigo we'll probably be waiting until the end of the saga for him to make a proper move. If only because he's the main character and they can't give something like this away with such ease. Or maybe because Bleach is, after all, not a saga based on romance.

What bothers me about the shipwars is not the craziness, or even the insane comparisons (though omg, some of them are just ugh) - it's the ideas they have of the female characters. In other words, the double standards. Sure, Orihime right now is all about screaming 'Kurosaki-kun!', but in both sagas (Soul Society and Hueco Mundo) the 'female lead' is stuck playing damsel in distress, and everybody else has to go rescue her. Why is it a good thing when Rukia does it but not Orihime? It's not like it's that different, is it? In the first one Rukia got captured and Orihime went with a group to save her. Not it's basically the same thing, reversed.

Oh, and I'm also bothered by the fact that nobody seems to see Orihime as something more than a 'shipping possibility'. I'd love it if she ended up with no-one. Sure, she has lots of people to get paired up with which would make for an awesome OTP, but it seems that she is read by many as just a 'romance tool'. What I want for her is not to get shipped (even if that could be a fantastic thing) but to prove what she's worth. And once that is done, yeah - she can get love interests by the dozen. But maybe I'm biased because I'm a rabid Orihime fan, but I don't really think of only one OTP for her.
