Well, given the increasingly unsavory reputation of otaku stuff in Japan, I expect this law to be very popular with non-fans of anime and manga.
I don't mind censorship on "extreme sexual acts", in fact I actually welcome it, but the censorship on "violence" is too vague, and the word itself is not that easy to define.
