I don't think Aizen was actually saying he wanted change the world for the better. He simply wanted to change it, period, to suit himself. You can change the status quo to something worse, after all XD And Aizen wanting to become god would definitely upset that status quo. I can't see anything morally right in what Aizen was doing.
