You know, I love the way you tell a story. Whenever I read something you've written it's the narrative voice that right away makes me feel comfortable. It's close up, unpretentious--like I've just grabbed a chair and put down my drink and I'm listening to every word because I don't want to miss anything.
I felt good about everything, the relationship felt good, and Ishida's preparations had just the right amount of excitement to make me wonder what was up--I didn't guess what would happen so it was a really nice tease. Like the other girls, I had a little squee at the mere mention of aida cloth and you're right, Ishida would know what that is and you're very thoughtful to consider that detail about him. It just makes me like you and the story more, lol.
And the ending was better than Halloween candy. It was cake with extra frosting!
