This chapter is sounding more fantastic with every new bit of info! And while I can't forget Ishida, *this* is the most exciting chapter I've seen since we shifted to FKK. I lurrrrve Stark and Shunsui and Ukitake (and Lilynette as the gun) and I am totally fangirling Shunsui getting serious now. Ukitake may spout off about fights of pride and Ikkaku may prefer to die than show his bankai but Shunsui is showing his wily and pragmatic side -- he knows what's riding on these fights and he knows they have to WIN.
This will be so good. And I'm going to weep if any of them go down. (I don't think Shunsui will die, tho, because I really see him as the only one capable of replacing Yamaji if anything happens to him. And I think SS would be better off with him in command, honestly.)
