Yammi taking a prat fall to the bottom floor? He's going to meet up with CHAD, his proper opponent and leave Ishida and Orihime to go find the hougyoku, he is! I didn't think it was possible for me to love Ishida more, and yet I do. Hime, where are you? I love how Ishida and Ichigo snark. And Ulquiorra the Jailer. What in world will his release look like? We'll be guessing ALL WEEK! Space and Annie say that "imprison" may be a better translation than "lock."

Of course he would. He did come here for her and her alone. Such an epic scene. He truly has lived up to his vow of saving Inoue for Inoue alone, and not for any other agendas. *fangirl swoon*
AND...the Rukia cover. I capslocked for 2 hours after seeing that. I..AM...HAPPY. VERY HAPPY. Rukia looks just GORGEOUS and the entire look and feel of the spread is just beautiful. AND COOKIES to the person who said Ichigo would get a complimentary cover for white day. BWAHAHAHH that day must come faster!
Chapter Spoiler
Date: 2009-02-05 04:47 pm (UTC)I can't say I'm surprised at what was going to happen. Ichigo once again leaving the person he was going to save in another man's arms.
In regards to this though, I had to roll my eyes at some of the stupid comments already popping up. A few IchiOri fans are saying that Ichigo leaving Inoue to Ishida is like a husband leaving his wife with another man while he goes off to war. That's funny, because in the SS arc (which they accuse us of holding onto in futility) Ichigo does the EXACT SAME THING WITH RUKIA when he gives her to Renji and tells him to protect her with his life.
It's kind of funny though, because I have a weird feeling that Kubo is going to definitely give Ishida and Inoue's relationship some major development in the coming chapters. The one guy who has sworn to save her since the beginning of the arc (Ishida) and the one who really understands what she is going through (unlike Mr. Dense Hero)is going to hopefully bring out the good side in Inoue again, and she will not rely so much on or be brought down by Ichigo's stupid words. I think Ichigo's actions in the past chapters have shown that he just DOESN'T get her, and I think Kubo is drawing a parallel between Ishida and Ichigo.
I am excited for the chapter and the next 5-10, because something major is going to happen to the main pairings, I can sense it. There is going to be rejoicing in some camps and wank in others, but Kubo is going to do something big, I can smell it.

Date: 2009-02-05 05:51 pm (UTC)Ishida is hilarious and wonderful. I love his response to Ichigo, his thank you, Captain Obvious, but you don't have to REMIND me to protect Inoue. XD (LOL, and YES, you don't need any so-called fail!logic shipper wank to see the differences between this scene and the IchiRukiRen scene in SS... they speak for themselves, no matter how many football jokes one tries to write).
I'm still undecided on whether I like the Rukia spread or not. I like everything about it except her face-- tbh, I wouldn't have known it was Rukia without looking at her hairstyle. But it's already starting to grow on me, so who knows. A week from now I might love it.

And I'm glad to see Ishida upstaging Ichigo. I really am. I mean, a huge difference between SS and Renji and this situation is that Ichigo had just finished saving Rukia from the giant flaming bird and he and Rukia had exchanged words and eyesmex whereas here....
well, as someone said, Ichigo couldn't even save Orihime from a couple Arrancar girls. Clearly, Ishida was supposed to look like TEH HERO here. And I'm just busting with joy.
