The Hougyoku is Not Sentient

A clarification of that puzzling last line from Chapter 400 now that Sleepyfans scan is out and so is Cnet's translation. The first translation we had from mangastream gave everyone the impression that the hougyoku had some sort of sentient will and was taking Aizen over or something (Aizen: "It seems that at long last my soul has begun to understand the will of the hougyoku"). Nope, got that backwards.

Sleepyfans:
Aizen: It appears that the Hogyoku has finally begun to understand my heart.

Cnet's translation:
Aizen: It would seem that the will of the Hougyoku... // ...has finally begun to understand what I desire.

So, yes, this all makes more sense--Aizen is in control of the hougyoku instead of the other way around! Just wanted to put to rest some of those braincells out there that were hurting themselves with speculation.

ED 23 AU Fic-a-Thon: Investigative

Pairing: None, thus far. Though, drink enough of Hallibel's booze, and you might see a little Ulquiorra/Ishida, though it's doubtful. Otherwise, nadda.

Summary: Ulquiorra hungers for the story of a mysterious run away.
Author's Notes: This particular ED reminded me very strongly of the DC Universe from the world of American comics. I think the whole SuperKanonji put me over the edge, but since I like the darker underbelly aspect, that's what I'll go with. Nehalenia, thanks for the awesome idea, and prompting me to take on yet another project! 'Cause I need another one just as much as I need a hole in the head. And that title is totally subject to change.

New Story: IshiHime for Yet_Adored

I was so happy when our first place winner in the bleachness Valentine’s fic contest , yet_adored chose an IshiHime short fic from me as her prize. Due to lots of RL pressures and family illnesses I haven’t had much time or inclination to write recently and this was just the perfect nudge to get back in the fanfic groove. I surrounded myself with all sorts of gooey romantic clichés in order to visualize this vignette and tried to let Kubo’s characters glide through and past them. IshiHime is such a sweet pairing but it’s not just Valentine’s candy. It’s been my OTP for six years now because … well, I can’t explain it fully. Read my little fic. It's very short. Thank you to nehalenia  for the beta.
