Contests, contests.... and a Bleach alarm clock

Voting has started at Bleach Asylum for their Halloween fic/art/graphics contest. Lots of nice Bleach entries there so go take a look even if you're not going to vote.


SIX MORE DAYS UNTIL ISHIDA'S BIRTHDAY AND THE TIME TO POST FOR THE BLEACHNESS CONTEST


The deadline, or rather, the ONE day to post entries for the Bleachness contest is Thursday, November 6, 2008, Ishida's birthday. The time to stop posting is Midnight, CST but let's just say I'll be flexible. Entries made on what is clearly the next morning will be loved and appreciated but ineligible for prizes.

Please read the contest info below on how to post. You will be posting that day with the subject heading ISHIDA BIRTHDAY CONTEST and the category of your entry (IshiHime Fanfic, RenIshi Challenge, Draw Ishida or IshiHime Graphics) also in the subject heading. You may enter as many times as you like, one entry per post.

Feel free to ask any questions about the contest. You can help me by tagging your entries Ishida, IshiHime, or RenIshiHime but don't worry about that--I'll gather all the eligible posts in a list of links when it comes time for voting. Just get your entries in and celebrate QUINCY ARCHER DAY (ha, I wonder if one of Kubo's extravagant fans who sent him Dom Peri for Aizen's birthday and blue roses for Matsumoto's birthday will send him anything for Ishida's? I swear upon my plushies that I did not send him anything this year. XD)

Again, how many goodies I'll give away depends on how many entries we have, but at the very least we'll have one prize in each category--with one of the prizes being the All Color But the Black artbook (English translation) that your hostess Orihime is showing you here.

Oh and someone showed me this vid the other day and I laughed and laughed. Soul Carnival opening for the game and then there's a bunch of settings where you can be woken up by your favorite Bleach character alarm clock! Watch the different versions after the game opening. Ishida's is so cute "By the pride of the Quincy, I will wake you up!" But holy moly, Chad, for a quiet feller, would be the one to get ME out of bed in the morning. Aizen, Byakuya, Urahara, and Szayel all have voices that make me want to roll over and go back to dreaming about sexy anime men.

Oh, I'll make my IchiRuki OMFG OMFG post tomorrow---too many goodies coming out about the new movie, an IchiRuki fight scene, CMs, etc--the fandom is fairly nuts and I've got a Halloween hangover and can't stop blinking about how many times the word "love" is used in the (not as yet confirmed) lyrics for the movie.
