And that panel made me all warm and fuzzy, too. He may be that laaaaaaid back and cool 99 percent of the time, but somehow Shinji's still the first one there whenever Hiyori's in trouble (same went with the end of the fight with Hollow Ichigo, with him at the head of the epic Visoredpile.).
And that glimpse of Kensei's monster form was pretty neat, too--makes me eager to see what all the Visored look like fighting in their masks. Gosh, though, I don't know quite how this flashback arc will resolve itself in just one? two? more chapters?
