What's canon?
I agree with you that most of Kubo's clues haven't been buried deep. I read the manga and I'm impressed with his puns (visual AND textual--even in his bad English) and with the poetry of his writing. It's not numerology--it's not several times removed from what's happening in the picture. For me, this particular databook interpretation just summarizes what I've been reading in the manga all along about Ishida--it's the "Ichigo's feelings for Rukia" that will be source of discussion. But that's not looking too far away from strict canon. Ichigo is a character in the manga and he has feelings, whatever they may be, for Rukia.
