That's what worries me the most, actually. Orihime's development. More than shipping. It's a character I've grown very fond of but as a character by herself, not attacked to a pairing. And with all honesty the first pairing I thought of with Orihime included Tatsuki as her other half but come on, it's really cute in any case.

I really want Orihime to fight back. Not that I don't think she's strong enough already. Her powers alone are pretty awesome and in a way really scary. I mean, reject reality? That's so much. But she seems too worried about hurting anyone, and I want her to see that if she wants to keep those she loves safe she has to fight back asap. I want her to make it, and even if she is 'submissive enough' (I think being pleasant is not the same as being submissive) or would make a good wife... doesn't that mean she can stand her ground by herself? It's not like I expect her to turn into another Kenpachi (LMAO), but... yeah. I think your icon says it all. XD I strongly agree with you on that, or at least want to believe it. I need Orihime to become a fully-developed character and to get over her fear. No matter who she ends up with, she can't properly do it without achieving that first. :)

And when you said the 'parallel' thing in the two arcs for some reason I imagined Ichigo catching Orihime in a saving move... and throwing her at Ishida. Pretty much like Rukia and Renji. o.o I bet that'd make the fandom explode because well, it all seems to be about Ichigo anyway. :p (XDD)
