I've actually wondered many, many times over the course of being in this fandom whether Kubo or, in this case Morita, putting a flashing, neon sign on their respective front lawns would make any difference in inspiring any type of understanding with these people.
But as time goes by, I'm becoming more and more convinced that it would not; they'd concoct some convoluted explanation about a bunch of us IchiRuki shippers flying over to Japan WITH the sign, finding said front lawn, diverting power to make sure that we had enough electricity to run it, and setting the sign up on the lawn in the middle of the night ourselves with no one the wiser, and say THAT obviously was the true explanation.
